APPROACH

The keys to what we do.

Although every project is unique, there are steps we take on each assignment to keep things running smoothly. Following these basics helps us do our favorite things: deliver high-quality work and support our customers’ businesses.

Cost estimating.

FPH maintains a full-time staff of professionals both in the office and in the field for timely and accurate cost estimating and control. We utilize Corecon and Microsoft Project software to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Draw requests are made in standard AIA format or as required by our clients’ lenders.

Design and project team collaboration.

When design, construction, and development professionals work closely together, projects are more likely to meet stakeholder objectives. At FPH, we’re involved in every phase of our projects, engaging with all key team members along the way. This keeps us informed and answerable to both clients and subcontractors and is integral to timely and effective project management.

Phased construction process management.

We track and maintain project development details and construction field scheduling information via Microsoft Project to ensure adherence to each project’s critical path. FPH project managers integrate these data points into all other facets of projects, providing full visibility to members of our office support team and the on-site superintendents.

Quality control during construction.

Quality control through the construction process is critical to the long-term success of any project. FPH’s unwavering commitment to quality is at the heart of our longstanding record of on-time and on-budget project delivery. It is also the reason so many of our clients are repeat customers.

Safety protocols.

Safety on any construction project is the paramount duty of the contractor and development team and requires continuous oversight and support. At FPH, our team members and all subcontractors participate in a documented safety program that includes written safety procedures, required certification classes, and weekly on-site safety meetings. We also conduct additional safety training for specialized or unique circumstances and for hazardous conditions.
